The Bombillas del Campo are custom made for YUYERO. We wanted top quality, long life, and high level craftmanship on the finish and artwork design of our bombillas. We also wanted an easy to use and clean product, yet artful and solid. In the identification of their different bombillas, the names of Indian Chiefs and Leaders have been used by the artisans as a way to honor their memory and their legacy. A strong movement of raising the awareness of the old ways and educating the new generations with the knowledge that is being slowly recovered is gaining a strong momentum in South America. These ancestors were the original mate drinkers, and it was them who introduced the new arrivals from Europe to yerbamate.
