All these bombillas are designed with a bigger lip to drink from, a sturdy curved stem, and a larger bowl to absorb the yerba without clogging issues. They are made of a heavier german silver, will not rust, and at most, the alloy may take on some of the yerba color with time. Very longlasting and beautifully crafted. These bombillas are made individually for YUYERO and no two are totally alike. Each represents a legend or a belief left behind by the natives who were the actual original yerbamate drinkers.

Pan de Azucar is a mountain in the Coast of Uruguay where these ancient native designs were found in nearby caves.

The two birds, one pointing up and one down are thought to represent the direction of travel where something could be found or a place was located.Usually only one was found next to the Symmetrical Cross.

The cross with equal arms is a complex symbol, representing the sky, the rain and life. A cosmological symbol or a representation of the world.

Custom made from top quality Alpaca (German Silver). Each one made individually so no two are totally alike. Beautifully crafted 8" curved, with artist design on stem.
