If you have used other yerba mate service providers with fancy "pods" and prepackaged yerba "systems": you have lost clients! Clients who would otherwise have come back for more yerba... again and again.
The reasons for this are various, and not obvious to the novice yerba mate provider.
Our teas are already as low as they can go and we cannot offer wholesale...however--at the low prices we offer for our kilos, and the fast shipping service we maintain--you can still make a tidy profit on yerba mate sales.
The following tips can help you serve a better yerba than "the other guys" down the street....
Here are our suggestions...:
For a "Yerba Latte"...
A loose-packed double-pull of Canarias in steamed milk will do it for the regular type. For an extra sweet treat offer it with "white chocolate", vanilla syrup, or honey; they blend very well.
For a good yerba tea:
Fill a drip coffee maker to the maximum you would use with coffee...with Rosamonte despalada, Taragui despalada, Cruz de Malta despalada, or Playadito.
[The first mistake people most often make with yerba is to treat it exclusively like tea; it is in many ways more akin to coffee... and more appealing to coffee drinkers!]
For the uninitiate, or more typical tea drinker, a single tea bag in a "to-go" cup will prove refreshing.
For iced tea in large quantities try our mate cocido recipe--well chilled. It will last a couple days refrigerated.
Creative Uses Include:...
Using yerba shots in fresh juice, smoothies, protein drinks, and wheat grass shots with ZIP!
If you own a small cafe or espresso stand, and are currently supplied by the Yerba Mate Tea Gourd, feel free to send us your advertising information and we'll try and get you listed here on our site. Thank you for choosing our service!
