German Silver Sheet

These mates, in large part, have, as their predominate artifice, German silver sheets, cut, bent and soldered into unique designs; also included here are German silver/brass overlay work--where the sheets are cut and soldered to reveal multiple colors of metal. Other items made in this way would be the "classic black and silver" mates--however those are distinctly classical in style, whereas these range from modern to avant garde. [Be advised that certain natural pigment dyes can bleed; unless they have a base be careful where you set them until they are broken-in.]
