We guarantee your satisfaction with our mates, bombillas, and yerba mate accessories
and paraphernalia. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase please
return the items, unused, in the same manner in which they were shipped--within
thirty days of our shipping them to you for a full refund, exchange, or credit--less
shipping costs.
Defects in manufacture which become apparent within a few months of nearly any
product may be replaced for full or partial refund at our discretion. These cases
are rare--we take great care in finding or producing the highest quality products--however
in any such case please contact us at

and we will advise what measures to take. More than likely we will advise you
to ship the item to us--in the same well-packaged manner in which it was shipped
to you (use packing material and do not ship items in an envelope!)--so we may investigate the matter. We must have the items in such cases--as
we send them to the artisan for our own refund and product quality control. Items
which have been altered or misused by the client do not qualify for a refund.
Most of our mate gourds are a natural product and subject to the growth of mold
or the development of cracks or small holes with time and use. We do not warrant
against the develpment of mold. Keeping them from excessive moisture or drying
will help preserve them for the long term. Leather mates will benefit from an
occasional light waxing with beeswax on the outside. All mates will last longer
if scraped out after each use and rinsed with warm water on the inside. Never
wash with soap or detergents--neither inside nor out. Stainless double-walled
mates should not be immersed in water... despite their impervious nature (water

Our yerba mate tea is not satisfaction guaranteed. Yerba mate tea is an acquired
taste and each brand has it's distinct qualities which are subject to personal
taste. We feel our prices are very reasonable and should allow customers to easily
try several brands before they find their favorite. The manufacturers themselves
have a satisfaction guarantee of their own; usually listed on the package. This
having been said--if there is some problem with your tea and you are not satisfied
with the product--WE WANT TO KNOW! In any such case (of which to date we have
not yet had any experience) please contact us at contact@yerbamateteagourd.com
and we will advise you what to do. More than likely we will have you return the
product to ascertain what the problem is.
