Hand-braised and finished with home-grown natural beeswax. Not a one is exactly the same, each one has its own character, but every attempt is made to obtain the highest quality hard-shell gourds.

...mates, porongos, and cuias are a favorite of our North American clients. These are some of the biggest in our selection--holding 5-9-oz. of yerba alone in their cavernous interiors! Perfect "party mates" for groups of 4 or more people. There are also people out there who like to have a little yerba swimming around in a whole lot of water: we don't condone this--however, this is the mate for you! [Be advised that certain natural pigment dyes can bleed; unless they have a base be careful where you set them until they are broken-in.]
