All our YUYERO Mate Gourds are custom made for us by our artisans in Uruguay, the country that drinks more mate per capita than any other country in the world. They know their stuff! All the gourds are made, finished and colored with natural ingredients. The coloring process is done with a burning technique without any acids, chemicals or artificial colors. Highly skilled craftmanship with attention to detail, resulting in an attractive, long lasting finished product. The gourds and bamboo are made with a high quality thicker calabaza gourd and bamboo cane, carefully selected from the northern drier climate section and cured for an excellent quality product to help you enjoy yerbamate for a long time. Our glass mates are made with larger tempered glass wrapped in top quality leather or synthetics, for the heavy mate drinkers or those who share with close ones.

MATE LEATHER PERA BLACK
This is a traditional style mate of larger size than most (~5-oz.) and with usually a nice wide rim for broad pouring pattern.
