Playadito--grown and packaged by the cooperative farms of Colonia Liebig Ltda. in Corrientes, Argentina--is the yerba mate of choice for those who live where yerba mate is grown.  Grown in rich red soil selected for its quality of producing an excellent and distinct yerba; the flavor is rich in aroma and strong but balanced; carefully cut and stationed to make a yerba of truly fine character. 

The flavor is similar to Amanda and is not smokey in aspect: in fact Cruz de Malta and Rosamonte both have more smoke flavor than this yerba; Union probably has less smoke flavor than this yerba--to give you a perspective.
