Most items ship on the next business day: after we receive your cashier's check or money order in the mail... or instant
payment via credit card or Paypal. Personal checks, however, require an average 10 days for clearance.
You select the shipping you prefer when selecting your order.
ORDERS WITHIN THE U.S.A.
USPS Priority Mail--
Our suggested preference. It is the quickest method with the least delays and is relatively inexpensive.
Kilos of tea, in order amounts beyond four kilos, will drop in price (per kilo) until you reach a quantity of approximately 27 kilos.

USPS Priority FLAT RATE--
When possible we will ship via flat rate box: there are now three distinct sizes we calculate for. Tea, for example, in amounts up to three kilos will ship for the same price as a single kilo. 4 kilos can ship via large flat rate box--with some exceptions. Approximately 8 half kilo bags can ship flat rate. Flat rate is also available now to APO and FPO addresses with considerable savings.
Parcel post--
By comparison, is much slower and we have had a few customers become irritated when their orders didn't
arrive after a week or two weeks... or three weeks... The packages ALWAYS get there... but if you need
speedier service PLEASE choose Priority. We won't eliminate Parcel Post from our selection, because it is very affordable,
but please have patience.
Some lightweight items ordered with Parcel Post shipping will actually ship automatically via First Class Mail--which is
faster.
Express mail--
Is also available. We ship ASAP--however don't rely on their "overnight" or "next day" claim; it just doesn't
happen from this location. Please also realize that if you order on Friday the order may not ship out until Monday.
Our post office here is not open on the weekend. PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR PHONE NUMBER.
We cannot be responsible for delays due to lack of this necessary contact info.
LOCAL ORDERS / Pick up at Location: FREE
If you are a local (North Idaho) person who wants the flexibility of ordering online--that's great. We don't have a retail location and you won't find
us out here walking around the woods. If you believe you can use this service please contact us via e-mail to arrange for a pick-up.
We really prefer local orders to pay "check in hand."
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
We welcome international orders.
International orders are as easy as any--simply select your shipping on the payment window. The calculations will
reflect real international shipping charges. The United States Postal Service no longer offers "surface" mail internationally--but you really didn't want that anyway.
Global Priority is the only available method to some countries (6-10 DAYS) and is recommended. Phone # required to most countries.

First Class Air is only for lightweight items... and is probably best used to nearby countries [Canada].
TRACKING:
In most cases we send tracking information the evening after we ship. Tracking with the USPS is not available for international orders or first-class orders. Tracking sometimes, especially
with Parcel Post shipments, will not show any information except acceptance and delivery. In any case, if we have not sent tracking due to high volume, you may contact us and we will send to you what tracking we have for your order.

OTHER CONCERNS:
ERROR MESSAGES regarding shipping calculation
If you receive a message upon checkout stating ...unable to determine rates..." (or any other error message) pleas contact us. You might have an error in your shipping address--or we could have an error in the coding of a new item placed on the site.
Please go to "My Account" at the top of the page, find "view or change entries in my address book", find the address you are sending to and click "edit".
Make certain that your postal code is entered in the postal code box, city in "city", etc. "Suburb" is what some would call "additional address." If this doesn't fix the problem; then please contact us; in most cases we can determine what the problem is.
Custom orders(orders requiring personalized manufacture, etc.)
...are shipped ASAP depending upon season and order status. We will give you an approximate date upon
contact with us.
Shipping to a Different Address:
Paypal may want to use your own address listed in your account as the shipping address. This will not prevent you
from shipping to a different address (sending a gift for example). Specify your shipping address when you fill out the
account information form Make certain you fill out the form with information in the proper boxes. If for ANY reason this doesn't work; please contact us. We do send to other addresses.
Gift shipping without invoice/label
We now use paperless invoicing exclusively; you will not have prices anywhere inside.
We do have our return address on the shipping label; I'm sorry it's so descriptive of what we sell but...you know...
